Film Trucks Ad In SBC Skateboard Mag
Working with the team at Film Trucks, we ran a print ad in SBC Skateboard Mag.
It features brand owner Jeremie Daclin working on a favourite curb on his lunch break. Give him a follow over on instagram and find out how much he gets done on a lunch break at his local curb.
The photo was taken by his long time friend and collaborator French Fred (Fred Mortagne).
We are proudly bringing another great brand owned by skateboarders to Canada. Film Trucks are guaranteed for life and they are a part of the 1% For The Planet.
Nothing feels better than getting a great skateboard truck, and making the world a better place.
Film Trucks are distributed to Canadian skate shops through Platform Distribution.

Scottie Englund "Post Pro Charcuterie Board" Part
Bacon Skateboards turned Scottie Englund Pro a month ago.
Now he has released a video part on Lowcard Mag to seal the deal.
The video name was coined by Zane Timpson, “Post Pro Charcuterie Board”. Genius.
Scottie has been riding for Bacon for a long time now. His pro model is well earned and deserved.
Bacon Skateboards are distributed in Canada through Platform Distribution. We bring core skateboard companies to Canada.
Ask your local skateshop to bring in the Bacon. Bring Bacon skateboards to your shop, get them to call their sales rep and make it happen. Or don’t. It’s alright. Live your life.
Film Trucks Restocked!
Following the release of the Film Trucks video Flamont Rose and its video premiere on Jenkem Mag, they have released a new season of products.
“Need a break from America? Enjoy “Flamant Rose” – a tour video that looks more like a vacation than a skate trip. If you’re unfamiliar with Film Trucks, they are a upstart brand out of France that’s trying to compete with the goliaths of the industry. We’ve always been a fan of the underdog and running a European based indie truck brand is definitely an uphill battle.”
The first row above features multiple views of the Film Trucks RAW. Sizing from 4.25 to 6.0. Freestyle/cruiser trucks to 8.75 wide decks!
The next row features two collaboration trucks. The first is a the result of working with Soy Panday from Magenta Skateboards. Jeremie Daclin (owner of Film Trucks) and Soy share a long history.
The Piano keys truck is the result of a collab with Ed Banger Records. This musically inspired truck, has piano keys and musical notes, and helpfully glows in the dark.
Soy Panday and Jeremie Daclin put together a video to explain the concept behind the truck. Watch the video below to see how it came about. Or at least watch it to see an amazing nose manual down steps!
Alongside the new trucks have come the release of Film Hardware, a restock in the popular Parking Block rails, and the Parking Block Wax.
Platform Distribution has been bringing new skateboard brands to Canada for years now. Film Truck are found at your local skateshop. Platform is the Canadian Film Trucks distribution company.
Speedlab Wheels Ad In King Skateboard Mag
Last year we ran a full page ad featuring Speedlab Wheels team rider Joe Fitzpatrick. The photo was shot by AK.
This year Jason Adams has officially joined the Speedlab Wheels team.
3 versions of the super popular Slappy Hour Wheel were created.
These wheels have been incredibly popular. The slightly softer durometer, allows slides, but gives a little more grip than a standard wheel.
Control and speed for all your skateboarding needs.
Ask for Speedlab Wheels at your local skateboard retailer. If they don’t have it, ask them to contact Platform Distribution and we will get it sorted out.
